Hi Godwin, Yes, this is the expected behavior. In EI, both servlet (tomcat transport) transport and passthrough transport can be used to inject requests into the axis2 engine. but we don't recommend to use Tomcat Transport for the mediation Since Tomcat Transport is not much-optimized one for the ESB scenarios.
