Hi all,
Its been few days, that I've tried to write few XalanJ
implementation enhancements to support XSLT 3.0 and XPath 3.1 (this is
far from complete, but I believe that this could be a good start to do
further work on this topic). I've just thought that, I could now take
a brief pause and let anyone from XalanJ team to review these XalanJ
codebase enhancements, and to try running the relevant XalanJ XSLT 3.0
and XPath 3.1 test cases that I've provided (most of the jira issues
cited below, have these relevant XalanJ test cases).
Following are the relevant XalanJ jira issues, for XSLT 3.0 and XPath
3.1 enhancements, that we've done on the XalanJ codebase (xalan-java
repos's branch xalan-j_xslt3.0),

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XALANJ-2661
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XALANJ-2662
Little thoughts below, about how to create XalanJ build to test
implementation of the above cited jira issues,
set JAVA_HOME = ...
set ANT_HOME = ...
build clean jar
I'll be happy, to hear any suggestions about this topic.
