At the moment, xalan-test is not only looking in xalan-java/build/ for the code
to be tested, it's looking in xalan-java/lib/ for the jarfiles xalan was built
against.
As a stopgap, the maven build prototype has a patch in progress to
create/update that /lib/ during xalan build, just to keep xalan-test running
without alterations.
But a simpler, possibly better stopgap might be for xalan-test to carry and
reference its own copy of /lib/, until we're ready to move it too into the
dynamic-fetch-current-version world.
