Elliotte Rusty Harold commented on XALANJ-2639:
-----------------------------------------------
Not a big deal as long as there's no org.apache.xml.utils anywhere else.
However if anywhere else does have org.apache.xml.utils then this will cause
split package problems in Java 9+.

> Currently, the XalanJ test SystemIDResolverAPITest fails on Linux (but passes
> on Windows). This test class, tests the implementation of XalanJ
> functionality within class SystemIDResolver. The methods like
> SystemIDResolver.getAbsoluteURIFromRelative(..) within XalanJ codebase may
> probably have bug, since their results are not consistent between Windows and
> Linux.
> Joseph Kessselman has helped us, identify this bug.
