[ http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/XFIRE-767?page=comments#action_84027 ] Derek Inksetter commented on XFIRE-767: ---------------------------------------
I have this same issue, but not in all cases. Xalan is not listed as a dependency of XFire, and is not distributed with xfire-distribution. On a Windows system, running newer version of JDK and Tomcat (1.5.0_09 and 5.5.20), xalan is apparently not needed. On Linux, using the exact same war file, running older versions of both (1.5.0_06 and 5.5.17), I get this error. This was not a problem before upgrading to 1.2.2. > Provider org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: XFIRE-767 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/XFIRE-767 > Project: XFire > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Core > Affects Versions: 1.2.2 > Environment: tomcat 5.0.28 > Reporter: jcjack > Assigned To: Dan Diephouse > > when I deploy my web service,in the webapp lib I use the > "xfire-core-1.2.2.jar".
