Hi Marc,
your template looks good, although to copy you might use a smaller more 
common version:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" 
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform";>
    <xsl:output method="xml" encoding="UTF-8"/>

    <xsl:template match="/">
        <xsl:copy-of select="."/>
    </xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
As the stylesheet is fine, it means there are no macros in the xml 
stream. I will come back later this afternoon with an answer.
