Hi Matthew,
the easiest way tp read/write flat OpenDocument is to use "ident XSL(T)
filter". See (e.g.
http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/flo?entry=flat_opendocument).
If you want to use UNO components, then you could simply use the Flat
XML demonstration filter from the UNO-API SDK
(http://download.openoffice.org/680/sdk.html).
Best regards,
Florian
P.S.
Stefan Taxhet asked in
http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/flo?entry=flat_opendocument whether you
liked a Flat OpenDocument filter to be available as a default in
OpenOffice.org. Please go tell us, ...
Dear All,
A quick question: Having enabled it in 1.x versions, I found the save
as to a single flat XML file very useful for troubleshooting, but
also for making routine modifications to files in a single pass.
Now that (the fantastic!) version 2.0 is out, and .sxw should over
time be replaced by .odt, etc, is the same functionality available,
and if so how to I turn it on so that my UNO Java code can continue
to clean up documents and save them in multiple formats for me...? Or
has the transition to .odt removed the ability to see the whole file
in one block...?
Many thanks for any advice!
Yours,
Matthew
