validator not catching invalid string fields
--------------------------------------------
Key: XMLBEANS-246
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-246
Project: XMLBeans
Type: Bug
Components: Validator
Versions: Version 2.1
Environment: Windows XP/JBoss 4.03, Windows XP, Macromedia JRun
Reporter: Tim Parker
Assigning "</foo>" into a string (xs:string) field named "foo" (resulting in
doubled end tags - "<foo></foo></foo>" in the output XML) isn't caught by the
validator - either in validate-on-set or in a direct call to the object's
validate() method.
