The OS X homebrew tap is unusable at the moment due to the URL we use in it being broken.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed, when it did work, how slow it was... so I've filed YETUS-1033 to not only fix it but to move the formula into its own repo. Since homebrew downloads the entire repo, putting the formula in its own repo should greatly cut back on the network needs for end users. I doubt we'll be able to use apache/homebrew-yetus (due to ASF restrictions), so I'll create apache/yetus-homebrew and update the docs as part of this big release doc update I'm working on.
