Doan, we provide binary package only built with Scala 2.11 from 0.6.1. You will need to build from source code if you want to use with Scala 2.10. We can consider providing both for Scala 2.10 and 2.11 if community wants from next release.
And error you posted looks more like spark issue than Zeppelin to me, can you try it with spark-shell and see if it exists or not? If it does exists in Zeppelin, please feel free to make a ticket on jira.
