I have had considerable trouble building the 0.8 branch code.. the last problem was that the SAP code appears to have a java 8 library but the project requires Java 7. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZEPPELIN-4341 Any hints on how to get 0.8 to build fully? Is master moving to Java 8? The documentation still says it uses Java 7.
