My bad, I was running it with ` mvn clean package -DskipTests` which uses the system's Maven ``` Apache Maven 3.6.0 (97c98ec64a1fdfee7767ce5ffb20918da4f719f3; 2018-10-24T21:41:47+03:00) Maven home: /opt/maven Java version: 1.8.0_372, vendor: Red Hat, Inc., runtime: /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.372.b07-1.el7_9.x86_64/jre Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8 OS name: "linux", version: "3.10.0-1062.9.1.el7.x86_64", arch: "amd64", family: "unix" ``` which is older than the minimum requirements (Maven 3.6.3+) specified in how_to_build.md Now that I have actually used the supplied `./mvnw` I don't get this error anymore. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
