Its a pretty nice idea to control your notebooks with hotkeys. But working with
the "key" itself will never be a solution, because there are a lot of keyboard
layouts in the world. Working with a non american layout is not possible.
f.e.
The german keyboard has its brackets {} accessible by the Right ALT Key and the
numbers 7 and 9. French ones have an whole other setup.
Instead of overwriting combinations,reduce the amount of hotkeys, or check with
ALT or SHIFT Hotkeys if this produces a "usable" char

This means you have the following set of combinations:
Shift, Ctrl, Left Alt + Letters from A-Z, Return, Enter, Backspace, Tab
Dont use right ALT at all! Its needed in the most languages!
