Hi Felix,
No iâm not aware this change is specific for CDH5.7.0. I ran into the
issue when installing the latest CDH on my laptop and wanted to experiment with
zeppelin a bit.
I have seen small differences on other occasions between the apache version
of hadoop stuff and CDH.
I know they sometimes add patches to their versions which are coming in
future versions of the apache stuff and sometimes need to change things to make
it work nicer with their distribution.
