I created a patch to checkin handmade pom into the 3.3 branch. This is a
temporary fix for just this release. I will not be checking this into the 3.4
branch. Ill open another jira for publising bookkeeper maven artifacts for 3.4.
The patch is hacky and is a temporary fix.
