What are the benefits of providing this? I thought providing the jar artifacts
was what maven wanted/used. (link?)
What does this mean "package". Is there something special about this, how is it
generated? Note that we currently use ant, but in there is a patch to move to
maven that's pending ZOOKEEPER-1078. If you'd like to see this move forward I'd
suggest that you help out on that jira (and the subsequent work that will need
to be done to fully move to maven).
