When I looked at this for the first time in a while, the previous bug was no
longer a problem. There were some changes made to FastLeaderElection.java
since I last worked with it, which I couldn't quite understand, but it looks
like they may have somehow solved the problem. This makes me a bit wary, but
everything works. I had to fix one other issue in my test with how I was
setting up the servers in the first place, but this updated patch should work.
Alex when you get a chance let me know what you think.
