If this is a new feature, then strictly speaking it should go into trunk only.
But, given the status of branches 3.4 and 3.5, it makes sense to me to have it
in those too. The issue you're pointing out seems to be that the patch doesn't
apply to the 3.4 branch, yes? We'll actually need it for 3.4, right [~iandi]?
