Are you still interested in Netty + SSL? I am wondering if adding Netty to
replace socket IO seems a cautious action to make, maybe we shouldn't do it in
this layer. We should add a HTTP proxy layer on top of both server and observer
which is also easy to implement SSL :>
Let me know your thoughts. At the mean time, I am working with Thawan for
ZOOKEEPER-1549. It would be great if you can follow up there and provide
insights.
