Rajini, Sorry for so late reply. Do you have a way to update to 3.6.2? If you want to upgrade to 3.5.9 the effort would be very like updating to 3.6.2.
Btw I think it would be worth to cut a new release, I am adding dev@ to my answer in order to start a discussion. We should just find a volounteer for driving the release.
