I have uploaded the upgrade software and some docs on siemens M20 to :
In order to upgrade you will have to open the M20 terminal.
The software works from Windows OS, so you will have to connect your M20 to some win98/2000 host.
Detailed instructions are inside.

Ok.
The first thing = upgrade it to 5.4 or later firmware.
Than check your conf file and connection.
Try with minicom.
