Hi there,

Stefan, we still carry this release showstopper with us in STATUS:

RELEASE SHOWSTOPPERS:

octstr_copy_real() throughs len >= 0 assert exception, maybe in
      smsbox.c:obey_request_thread()

You said that you can't reproduce the bug anymore, right?

I'd like to suggest the following term specification:

Def:
A bug is a non-standard behaviour of the software that is not defined
in it's functional specification and is hence believed to be an
unexpected behaviour. Besides this, a crash or segmentation core dump
is only considered to be a bug, if the person who detected the
misbehaviour is able to reproduce the misbehaviour on demand and is
able to verbaly communicate the procedure to reproduce it in the
developer's mailing list.

Hence any bug that can't be reproduces is not considered anymore as
bug and therefore is not a release showstopper candidate, right?!

If this is true for the above showstopper, then we'll remove it from
STATUS and we have green light for tagging and rolling a new stable
release.

Stipe
