The more recent Motorola non-iDEN phones (and therefore, I guess the more recent phone.com browsers) also allow you to enter the homepage URL. Make sure that this is not set to the openwave URL first otherwise no matter what you do to the device-home it will still not work.
Also, the map-url is wrong in your config as far as I can tell (I've never used it myself). Perhaps you could use something like : map-url = "http://www.openwave.com/wml/opwv http://192.24.xxx.xx/test/test.asp"; as this should map any request coming in with the URL http://www.openwave.com/wml/opwv to http://192.24.xxx.xx/test/test.asp Of course, this won't work if you really want to go to http://www.openwave.com/wml/opwv ;-) See http://www.kannel.org/download/1.2.0/userguide-1.2.0/userguide.html#AEN717 for more info on map-url. They send a "device:home" as initial URL.
