Page 29, of "WAP-224-WTP-20010710-a, Version 10-Jul-2001" 7.6. Asynchronous Transactions 7.6.1. Motivation
The maximum number of outstanding transactions at any moment is limited by the maximum number of Transaction Identifiers. The Transaction Identifier is 16 bits, but the high order bit is used to indicate the direction of the message, so the maximum number of outstanding transactions is 2**15. The implementation environment will also set a limit to how many outstanding transactions it can handle simultaneously. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Marco Fassiotto [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Gesendet: Freitag, 19. I have not found mention to this distinction anywhere in the WAP specs concerning the WTP TID, does anybody know where I should look for? Thanks, Marco -- Marco Fassiotto [EMAIL PROTECTED]
