That's my point. You don't usually pay for the GPRS traffic to download a MMS message. It's the sender who pays. Receiving a MMS message is free according to the billing information available on the sites of the network operators here in Germany. I think this is one of the reasons network operators use a different APN for the MMS network. It keeps the billing records cleanly separated between MMS and "normal" GPRS traffic. regards Joerg
