Just a quick update.. I saw a stuck message
earlier. At the same time, I telnetted to port 10000 (fake) on the box in
question. It dumped out the "stuck" message on my connection to fake, which is a
bit strange - even though it had a proper smscid in the message.
So what it looks like is that if an SMPP connection
is down, it sends it to the fake SMSC. Very strange!
Any thoughts? I'll set up a test SMSC next week and
see if I can replicate it.
