Take a look at Mbuni (http://www.mbuni.org) instead. It does what you
want.

Kannel has no "generic" support for MMSEncapsulation support as
defined by WAP Forum / OMA specs.
It can be used as WAP GW for phones that transport MMS to the MMSC
(MM1 interface) via WTP/WDP datagrams, but there is no
"de/en/capsulation" of MMS.
