this behaviour has changed since 1.2.1 to 1.3 (or maybe 1.4) and is  
somewhere documented I think.
The general rule is that the coding parameters now follow what the  
GSM specs say about the parameters inside a SMS PDU.
The old way was saying 0 = default, 1 = first value, 2 = second value  
etc.
The new way is saying -1= default/not present. 0 = first value  
according to spec, 1, second value etc.

So you have to change your submit code to adopt to the new way of  
parameters. This is true for coding and a few other parameters. The  
new parameters are more logical.
