On the preB boards, it is very difficult to remove the plug from the
serial connector J1, because the plastic flange slips behind the body of
Q1, thus locking the plug into place.
To remove the plug, you must gently pry the plastic flange over the top of
Q1. This is rather tricky, especially if you don't know to do it (it's
very hard to see).
