Marco,
I'm running Mandrake 5.3 on a Toshiba Tecra 500 CDT. I'm not sure which model
the 220 is, but I'm guessing it's a laptop. A good place to start reading about
this stuff is the docs/HOWTO directory. I think there is a Laptop section in
the Hardware-HOWTO.

Also if you go to linuxhq.com they have the docs available online. I think the
laptop section of the hardware howto has a link to the "linux laptop" home
page. This page has info on many specific laptops. that is where I went to get
all the configuration info for mine.

As far as swap space, I have herd that 1-5 X your RAM are good sizes for swap
I have 32 Mb RAM and use a 64 Mb swap, but osview has never reported more than
20 Mb of swap usage. Since you have less Ram you might want more swap. Maybe
3-5X ? I'd try increasing it to 48 or 64 Mb...

 Hope that helps...
