Felipe,
I have had the same problem. I have updated to Netscape 4.7 (Mandrake
addition) and the problem goes away for a bit. But does eventually come
back. I am unsure of what the cause of the error is, but it looks like it
has something to do with KDE window manager and Java.

Subject: [devel] Bugs In Mandrake With Netscape
I've a doubt! I am using Madrake 6.0 (kernel 2.2.9-27mdk) and have installed
on my system both Netscape 4.7 and Netscape 3.04 Gold. Both Netscape
sometimes, without any reason shutdown and a core dumped file appears. I
don't know how to read this core file. But the some Netscapes are installed
on another system, a brazillian distribution of Linux called Conectiba Linux
with kernel 2.2.5-23cl and this problem doesn't seem to happen. Is possible
that some memory chip is with a problem? Or Mandrake doesn't accept two
Netscapes installed?
Thank you all!
