fedpkg is more than just an interaction with the source control, it's
also how you interact with the koji build system and with bodhi, and
potentially with other things in the future.  Bundling those all into
git doesn't necessarily make sense.  For those used to git and prefer to
use git directly to manipulate the sources, they can do that just fine.
