From my experience, this is just plain wrong. Even with updates-testing enabled there is hardly any package getting updated twice a week. And updating your OS less than once a week is careless if you run it every single or second day. So, no, automatic update downloads are the only right thing to do if you can't guarantee having no security bugs. > On a related note, why on earth is the main Fedora repo set to expire every > two weeks?
