You could automate it in the fpc spec file, something like this in %install:
mkdir -p %{buildroot}%{rpmmacrodir}
cat > %{buildroot}%{rpmmacrodir}/macros.fpc << EOF
# Some explanation here...
%global _fpc_version %{version}
EOF
