You summed it up pretty well. As far as the mailing list issue for some email clients I did find this over on the Discourse support forum: https://meta.discourse.org/t/plaintext-and-or-raw-emails-for-mailing-list-mode/74267 Again, I'm far from being an email expert... I'm just a user of it - but people who do have the knowledge might want to take a look and see if this discussion reflects some of their concerns and possibly participate. I don't know if the situation could or could not be improved... but it doesn't hurt to ask.
