This isn't a great experience, though. It's kind of nice having all the repository files in one place-- it means that if I want to find out which repositories are enabled or installed without actually using dnf, I can just look at the contents of a single directory. Breaking that up into two+ directories will just make this slightly more difficult and annoying. This might be okay if there was a strong reason in favor of making the change, but it's not clear to me that there is one beyond a desire to get away from using the name "yum".
