Hi all, decided to disable aspell support in mc as a whole. Note it is disabled by default configure option in mc anyway. A beneficial side effect is we have now even smaller dependency footprint and the annoying message while editing *any* file goes away without aspell + friends installed.
This whole feature just opens can of worms on so many levels.
