Firefox also bundles the library, but the real upstream is: https://github.com/kinetiknz/cubeb If you want to unbundle the library, you should package it from there, and then maybe get Firefox to use the system version as well. (That said, for better or for worse, the packaging guidelines no longer require unbundling libraries.)
