Any update on what? You posed an article with no details. Unless you're going to do the work the answer is no, there is no update. This is not a list where you post demands and expect people just to drop everything and do what you demand of them, Fedora has a change process [1], I suggest you go and read it and work out how to do the work yourself if you want it.
