Dear maintainers,

I have updated Fedora asio package from the current 1.16.1 to 1.24.0. I have rebuilt the seven current dependencies and with the exception of OpenSceneGraph, all build fine against the updated asio package. While OpenSceneGraph failed to build, the failure does not seem to have to do anything with asio. I have created a side tag so that the rebuilds can be coordinated: f38-build-side-56604. I do not have provenpacker privileges which means you have to request the rebuilds yourself. You can start once the asio build [1] finishes. Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

Best regards,
Julian

asio-1.24.0-1.fc38 has now been built and is available in the side tag.

Well, asio{-devel} seems header (template) collection, no library, so
actually even without any rebuild, no dependency breakage will happen.

Nevertheless is it better that we rebuild all depending src.rpm?
( src.rpms with BuildRequires: asio-devel are only 7, so rebuilding them is
   not hard anyway.)

Since nobody except Ralf (freefem++ maintainer) responded, may I ask for assistance from provenpackagers? Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Julian
Given the lack of response, I tried to push the update anyway given the low risk of breakage due to it being header-only. Unfortunately, it turns out that my side-tag is gone. Documentation states:

Side tags are cleaned up 30 days after creation, or 14 days if they have not been used at all. Make sure and use your side tag before then.

Since I used my side tag, I have expected it to still be there. Could someone clarify? Does 14 days apply for any consecutive 14 days? The wording implies that building something for the side tag at any time would make it stay for 30 days.

Best regards,
Julian
