I think that comes from the fact the arguments have gotten very heated and people aren't fully communicating facts as much as emotions. At this point, it doesn't matter. The changes will go into the mass rebuild, and we will see how many packages actually build, and how much work is needed to get the rest to work. After that we can get a beta out and see if the slowdowns are shattering. Then we will get a release out in April/May and call it Fedora 38. At which point we can really see if the slow downs are bad enough to make it 'unusable' or the data gotten by the changes are 'able to improve things'. People like me who are not happy about the way this change has been pushed through will either stay on F36/F37 until we are feeling things are improved, or moving to a different operating system for the time being. It happens, and is a good thing. I like to consider it self-imposed exile where I get to experience a different 'culture' of a different city-state's way of doing things (like an Athenian going to Corinth, Sparta, or some island city.)
