Just a note: GDM gets shut down after a timeout. So the stats might differ
whether you collect them directly after login or a short while afterwards.
Something to be aware of.

If there are really some memory improvements in GNOME 44, it will affect
upgrades as well, of course. At this moment I'm a bit skeptical about the
presented numbers, though.
