Is this used by Gnome search unconditionally? I might want to use Gnome
but not a background indexer/tracker/search engine. Threw me off back then
when KDE introcuced something like that.

Now, *if* this is conditional on a setting, installing the service may
be acceptable if it is not run without that setting. Many ifs, I know :)
