As a follow up, KDE Plasma has not supported EGLStreams either since
Plasma 5.23 (it was dropped in 5.24). So in practice, Xwayland support
for EGLStreams meant nothing for KDE Plasma Wayland users.

All wlroots-based environments don't support EGLStreams either, so I
don't expect this to be a significant issue.
