Hi folks,

The libminc package includes this license text, which is close to MIT,
but not exactly as MIT is. What SPDX identifier would one use for this?

It's another MIT license variant. Just use "MIT".
It doesn't match the pattern for MIT: <https://spdx.org/licenses/MIT.html>

I think it's closest to this HPND variant:
<https://spdx.org/licenses/HPND-doc.html>

Great tool to identify license text and visualize differences is

https://github.com/spdx/spdx-license-diff

When I used it, it tells me it is 100% match to HPND-UC. This license is
already allowed in Fedora.

I'll file a ticket with legal to clarify and see what they suggest.

If you ever need it, you can follow
