 Are you really sure that Apple uses LLVM because it is better
 *compiler*? Maybe the reason is that LLVM is more easy to integrate
 to IDE tools (it's more modular and some features are available by
 shared libs, e.g libclang). The another story are (maybe) non-technical
 reasons.

 BTW, util-linux is possible to compile by clang.
