The mono stack has other issues, it's generally very badly and
haphazardly maintained in Fedora. When there's a new release someone
generally comes in and throws it together and over the fence but
doesn't actually support it. I've fixed a number of long standing
issues and open bugs when I've been dealing with build issues on ARM
that haven't been attended to (I try and look at other bugs when I'm
fixing a package for ARM to see if I can help with what I refer to as
"drive by bug fixes") but there's whole rafts of issues with mono that
I look at and run away because I feel I'm opening a whole can of worms
that I really don't have the time or interest to deal with. It would
be nice to get a new and enthusiastic mono maintainer!
