I am joining this list since I intend to add a package to fedora - libchipcard. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=879839 I discovered that fedora was not supporting my favourite money management software with my bank and I started to digg why - down to source code level. It turned out that my bank issued a chipcard that is so very strange and that the libchipcard library would fix this, if it were installable. Only it wasn't So I started to get the package into the distribution. I feel, I crossed the the point of no return with this packaging some weeks ago. The scar still feels like it's fresh. Apart from learning the fedora conventions on packaging, I try to raise two kids and enjoy the eventual sailing trip.
