I'm also dogfooding Fedora for almost a decade and i always had updates-testing enabled since it exists. There were times when Fedora was very aggressive on updates and it had an impact (a positive one overall, i hope)

There are two poles in our community: one wishing a more bleeding approach, the other emphasizes on stability. We can't please everyone, but having different products over a common base might concile these two sides
