It shouldn't have, the last time the x86 level of hardware supported was back around F-13. That said with supporting the OLPC XO-1 over the years we have at times seen regressions here and there but if you get to KDE it's still generally supported, you'll need to capture the crash though, I suspect it's a driver crash or similar.
